      Hello everyone.

My concern for my tinnitus is non-existent and it has been absorbed into the background of my consciousness along with my heartbeat and the fact that I breathe. No fucks given - zero.

At the time of occurrence I spent the best part of the year thinking my life was over - I was so distraught!

It's nice to see how far I have come with it all.

Wishing everyone who is going through it now health and healing - you got this :)

      Peace.

Glad you are doing well! Has your tinnitus lowered? Do you or did you have hyperacusis? Do you do the same activties as before, i.e. movies, games, etc.

      Blessings,
      T

My tinnitus is more noticeable when stressed or after caffeine.

Normal activities have resumed although I am more aware when things are too loud and carry earplugs around on nights out.

Hissing and low ringing - music feels fine now. Awareness is the key factor in my perception of the volume of the ringing.

Same here. The loudness of my tinnitus goes up when my attention goes to the tinnitus and goes down when I do not pay attention. I discovered this very early but back then I was not able to refrain from giving my tinnitus attention.

@Wrfortiscue, I have one high pitch tone that is the main one but if I pay attention I do hear other tones as well.
