They haven’t even stated a price yet. It will certainly be cheaper than flying to South Korea and paying for Shim’s treatment.

They have said plenty about the product and their goal of release. They are certainly saying more than Shim has about his method. Still waiting for Shim to do a Q&A with this website or release any study data at all.

I’m glad you got the Shim treatment. We are lucky to have you here to tell us about your experience. We know where your loyalties lie. I don’t see the point of bashing Neuromod. It’s a product you will probably never use anyway.

Why comment about your assumptions with the price? This is just going to cause a frenzy with people thinking the price has been stated already.

Nope. I won't even ask how old you think I am

When I think about it, it's actually been 22 years. Started off as pulsatile and I made it worse... now it's just a loud constant roar.

I made contact with a musician who took part in the clinical trial in 2018. He has had a lasting improvement in tinnitus volume or to put it another way his tinnitus has been greatly reduced and almost 12 months on from finishing the trial his tinnitus remains low.

He's very happy with the outcome. I won't make contact with him again. I don't want to appear like a mad tinnitus stalker!

I rang Neuromod today and asked if they’ve got a release date. They said they haven’t made it public yet but will let people know who have signed up for further information as soon as they do.

I asked if it was likely to be months away and they said not months, it’s coming out very soon.

My only concern here is whether they exclude people who have heart conditions or neurological issues. I don't have a pacemaker or anything like that, however, I don't need inadvertently to end up with one

@Snake do you think that they will sell it for a lower price in our country? I always thought that they would not go below PLN 16,000.

2,300 Euros last I heard. I'll likely have to wait for a Canada/US launch anyway, so I'll be able to see what the first wave of adopters say.

If it works, I'll gladly pay that and know that every cent will be worth it.

I think you need to be careful in how you phrase things like this. Some people who might not be fully up to speed with this might just take this at face value and think it got rid of tinnitus for 4/5 people. That isn't what happened. From the numbers they've released so far, they've said a percentage saw a 'clinically significant improvement', but their definition of this is 'an improvement of 7 points or more on the THI scale' - which isn't much at all.

I'm trying to keep a lid on my hopes for this thing, but we need to make sure we don't raise false hope for others as well.

It is ridiculous to call an improvement of 7+ points on the THI "a significant improvement".

      It's absolutely nothing. Nada!.........totally negligible.

I wholeheartedly agree with caution when it comes to optimism.

But from what we've heard from people who have tried bimodal stimulation, the results were extremely good. We've heard from 2 people that their tinnitus went from severe to almost inaudible and then from another 2 people that their tinnitus went away entirely. So you can't say it hasn't completely removed the symptom for some, because it most certainly has. I'm just wondering why the paper doesn't match these claims we've heard from people who have tried it. Or why Neuromod's testimonials were so lackluster and quite frankly, garbage. They should have Clara B in those testimonials.

We know at this point bimodal stimulation is the real deal, we just don't know how much everyone is going to respond. Some people had their tinnitus eliminated, some people had massive reductions, some people had mild reductions, and small portion said it did nothing.

I think a lot of it boils down to what form of tinnitus you have, and how severe it is

Funnily enough, everyone on this forum who has tried bimodal stimulation in the clinical trials have said they can barely even hear their tinnitus anymore or that it went away entirely. I call that pretty significant.

We know it works, I don't understand why everyone is poo pooing it. Yeah it won't work for everyone, but when this gets out investors will go CRAZY and put money into developing more devices for other forms of tinnitus.

I think now that we're approaching the launch, people are having fears about it not working well or at all for them. To them, I say just calm down and relax. If this works, the tinnitus world is going to explode with investments into alternate forms of treatment. Money talks. And people can make billions off this unmet need that affects people globally.

We now return to your offense, when somebody dares to even remotely question the effects of this device. Do you work for Neuromod?

A reduction of 7 points IS negligible. I would like to see you try to explain otherwise.

I'll be glad to. Measuring suffering is inherently subjective and imperfect. PERIOD.

I don't trust the numbers alone to tell me how much better they feel afterwards. It's going to be their own testimonials.

They have to if they want clients from here, at least a little bit. Also rumored EUR ~2500 based on MuteButton price is closer to PLN 11.000 than PLN 16.000.

I have had tinnitus for 8 years and spent the last 5 years locked up in my room at home, running away from everything and everyone. Being socially withdrawn, isolated and alienated. I'm not so optimistic that everything would change after the Neuromod / Lenire treatment, tinnitus will probably still be there, and there is also the possibility of tinnitus worsening too. But at least I want to be able to relax, work from home and meet with people in quiet places like, I don't know, the forest, without the constant fear that some dog will bark there out of nowhere destroying my ears and skyrocketing my tinnitus. I don't want to hear this noise...

I'm heartbroken and I have tears in my eyes everyday, I'm literally fighting to stay alive even if everyone sees that I'm doing nothing, just lying on my bed. I need help but I don't know if Lenire will be it. I need genuine reviews from people that I know have severe tinnitus. If that happens, well then I'll be aboard the hype train.

But deep in my heart I don't think that it will work, I just can't after all of the disappointments in the past (and present). I'd like to be proven wrong :(
