Tinnitus Since Childhood (Glue Ear) — Could Vyvanse for ADHD Have Now Made It Worse?

I've always had ringing in both ears, since 1982 when I had glue ear. I had the operation, I can't remember what they did but I couldn't get my ears wet for 1 year. Then they removed these grommets or whatever they are.

Lately in the past week it has doubled in intensity and it's driving me insane.

It seems to gotten worse after I started taking Vyvanse for ADHD.

But I read worsenings can happen from lots of things, like even vitamins which I started taking a lot of.

Every day it's the same. It's not getting any better.

 

Did your tinnitus start after the grommets were inserted?

 

I believe so.

 

How loud was the tinnitus caused by the grommets? Could you hear it outdoors? I’m considering getting them but I’m nervous I might develop worse tinnitus.
