Topical Peroxide and Iodine for Cleaning a Surgical Site — Impact on Tinnitus?

      November 5, 2017
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      probably pepto bismo and aspercreme
      Good evening, I am having a post surgical appointment tomorrow. My doctor has been using peroxide and iodine to clean the surgical site on my foot. Should I be worried about these substances?

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Acoustic Trauma
      It's my understanding that ototoxic medicine applied to a bloody wound on the head or neck has some risk as far as tinnitus is concerned. This doesn't seem to be your case.
