So this is something I started to notice over the last 5-6 weeks and wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. I'm currently 6 months post-trauma.

Basically, around 6 weeks ago I was beginning to realise that my left ear was in a much better place than my right ear. Although there was still some residual sensitivity in the left ear, I didn't feel like I would need any ear protection in most day-to-day activities for the left ear. A couple of weeks later, I started to notice my right ear improving but now my left ear was worsening. My trigeminal neuralgia symptoms also flipped from the right side of my face to my left side. For the last week, the pain is now very much on the right side again.

Has anyone else had something similar? What the hell is going on? How does this fit into any of the current proposed models/theories?
