Oh no what's happened?

I was at my final day of school. I decided to stay in the ceremony. There were loud whistles screaming music. In the end I decided to stay a little more and there were some fireworks so I decided to leave. I could possibly avoid or leave or at least wear ear protection but I was stupid and I didn't. I stayed because I was ashamed to leave the ceremony in the big hall, don't know why I overstated after that too

Oh gosh don't beat yourself up, I've done similar. Sometimes it's so awkward to leave.

This reminds me of last Christmas I went to very loud carols, I felt rude to leave so sat there for 45 minutes!! It was sooo loud.

I had a spike but it went down after a few weeks. I felt like you! So much regret. I'm a really awkward person and that makes life hard lol, leaving is perfectly acceptable.

we all make mistakes, you don't "deserve it". The human ear can withstand a lot, this will probably not affect you at all.
