I firmly believe that TMJ is not the cause od the pain. IT is hyperacusis.

Nothing, just got let the body do what it does. It improves somewhat overtime. Protect your ears when needed to avoid a setback

don't be in denial, people with genuinely good hearing can pick up and deicepher sounds in very complex background noises. Those are the people that take very good care of there ears

I have this too. They told me it's from acoustic trauma or from period hormones that change before my period. Are you still on betaserc? I stopped it due to some side effects it gave to my eyes but my ears got out of control. Really wondering if it could prevent hearing loss from ear pressure episodes.

Now it makes more sense bc my ET is fine and when I chew a gum it does not help. It is deep inside... Well, it is what it is :/

I have had eye floaters since childhood. That has nothing to do with tinnitus. My H is a lot better. Tinnitus is Always the same along with ear fullness

Some weird person. But they even neglect the research studies. They are pro TRT but neglect the effect of Mg and some supplements that have some effect on the nerves... Really rude person I have to admit

No, I didnt ask about that, but they said it did not affect their T at all, so I guess they had no fluctuations.

No matter how loud it is I hate it only bc it reminds me every day that I have a hearing damage. That is the worst part of it. I am coping better now.

I saw some videos of trucks on low volume. I heard a truck horn in May when I was driving on the highway next to a big truck.

Oooh! That would suck. I hope you had some hearing protection on. Since I got t I realized how randomly people honk horns, rev engines and leave holes in their crappy mufflers. Take any good car, poke a hole in the muffler it and it's ridiculous noise.

I had on previous highway trips but not when I heard the truck horn. I couldn't predict it, it was a Saturday morning and thought that the chances of finding one were low. I didn't had much change to my hearing or t following that incident. Me too. People love noise.

Maybe it's a problem with your teeth? Wisdom Teeth? Gum Disease? Cracked Tooth? Decayed Tooth? Not necessarily TMJ.

I never had problems with teeth.. i have some Jaw misalignment.I Always thought my Jaw pain was from that. But , IT is not.. IT was from the inner ear pain... I had this for 10 years. But now it Got so much worse..

Noise is a good distraction from the ringing... I'm thinking of purchasing a small fountain to run in the house. Flowing water is a great masker and quite relaxing as well.

If we really wanted to cure cancer we would have been able to ages ago, but like Chris Rock says: the money is not in the cure, but in the treatment.....and everything is about money :/

In the old times, not too long ago now, when radiation therapy started to be used as a treatment for cancer, and someone from a village was diagnosed and got an appointment for radiation therapy and was going away for a few days, all the villagers would come to wave that person off. As if anticipating that he or she might not be coming back.

That was a true story by the way. Today, it is very common and normal to get radiation therapy, and people are talking about cancer more openly than they did before. If it's anything that medicine has achieved in the last 100 years it's the ability to prolong life for cancer patients. Not to mention that cancer research is the basis for modern day cell biology.

I hardly sleep anymore. Mine is so terrifying that I dont know how much more I can take.

I dont have ear fullness anymore. I had it for about three months. I still have Severe Tinnitus. I sleep only 4 hours per night.

I don't have severe tinnitus, but I still have ear fullness and some ear pain... IT is the other way around :/
