You are all wrong. there is no TMJ. Hyperacusis is the cause of the pain in the jaw and facial pain... It is the inner ear not TMJ.

Nothing, just got let the body do what it does. It improves somewhat overtime. Protect your ears when needed to avoid a setback

I have this too. They told me it's from acoustic trauma or from period hormones that change before my period. Are you still on betaserc? I stopped it due to some side effects it gave to my eyes but my ears got out of control. Really wondering if it could prevent hearing loss from ear pressure episodes.

Oooh! That would suck. I hope you had some hearing protection on. Since I got t I realized how randomly people honk horns, rev engines and leave holes in their crappy mufflers. Take any good car, poke a hole in the muffler it and it's ridiculous noise.

In the old times, not too long ago now, when radiation therapy started to be used as a treatment for cancer, and someone from a village was diagnosed and got an appointment for radiation therapy and was going away for a few days, all the villagers would come to wave that person off. As if anticipating that he or she might not be coming back.

That was a true story by the way. Today, it is very common and normal to get radiation therapy, and people are talking about cancer more openly than they did before. If it's anything that medicine has achieved in the last 100 years it's the ability to prolong life for cancer patients. Not to mention that cancer research is the basis for modern day cell biology.

The phrase was not incorrect, however starting five different sentences with the word "I" is quite repetitive and rather egocentric . So while not technically wrong, the letter's repetitious and self centered tone was still in poor form.
