I think hyperacusis is a very common thing , but people don't like to talk about it

there is probably more unknowns to hyperacusis with pain then just OHC damage.

Or, the injury is in the ear and it affected my lymbic system which is connected to PMS. Makes sense to me. We need to control the lym. syst

tinnitus is confirmed neurological, but painful hyperacusis seems to be a ear condition but there could be more to it.

Ginger plays a crucial role in reducing H. I know it from my own experience. However, it worsens my tinnitus :/

the same. Nothing has changed except from hyperacusis.. It is better now. Sometimes it comes back but then goes back to normal. I am still scared of the condition getting worse but I am more prepared now and I am ready to wear hearing aids in the near future if the condition gets worse

I don't knoe the guy but from what I see it seems tinnitus played a role in is suicide. It scares me a lot the fact that hearing damage leads people to killing themselves. Why can't we just accept hearing aids like we accept glasses fof our eyes? Losing hearing is part of life just like losing vision and we should all acknowledge that and try and find ways to treat the symptoms of h.loss

I would be ok if my T was mild, but its very intrusive/loud. Not maskable. On top of that I have Hyperacusis, Visual snow, and dark/black eye floaters. I am also dealing with a swollen lymph node...idk why.
