It is quite enough to 16 kHz. This will remove your tinnitus ana 95% when properly configured.
But manufacturers make a good profit on hearing loss, making the devices up to 8-10 kHz, they will not bother with such fine details. This is capitalism

If I remember right the 8khz was missing or damaged for your right ear according to DPOAE.

250 hz: 5 dB both ears
500 hz: 0 dB both ears
    1000 hz:5 dB both ears
2000 hz: 0 dB both ears
4000 hz: 0 dB right ear, 5 dB left ear
8000 hz: 5 dB both ears.

Even the 5s are on the fence to 0. I didn’t do a 10k audiogram, but I don’t notice any volume reduction, so probably a 5. I might get another audiogram soon.

DPOAE is more trustworthy than Audiogram. You need to do speech in noise.

I can tell with music that IHC synapses are damaged because certain songs will have high pitched word endings smearing.

S, f, and sometimes other word endings will blend in with the music in certain songs. @Contrast can explain more.

I think I have that too. The only thing that reveals hearing loss is speech in noise, which was mild hearing loss in noisy areas. I am sure I damaged inner hair cells in both ears. What I cant understand is if its possible that my OHC on the right ear are fine but INHC are damaged.

One article that Contrast frequently posts on here states that you can lose 80 percent of inner hair cells, and a hearing test can still be normal as long as outer hair cells are intact.

Ah alright. So we have damaged inner hair cells as well. I thought that Outer get damaged first and then inner. Please next time do speech in noise, this is the only test that showed that I have hidden hearing loss.

My hearing has been damaged by that ear test, fire alarm, and the car muffler/exhaust. Thus why I have hidden hearing loss, remember speech i noise was fine last year
