As soon as the movie came on I put in my earplugs, I could still hear the movie but it lowered the volume a lot and it wasn’t so loud, I watched the movie and enjoyed it, it didn’t hurt my ears. I don’t want to stop living, it took some courage to go back into a movie theater, but I did and I used caution with my ear plugs and it seemed to not cause a spike.

It’s been two days since the movie and my tinnitus is still the fluctuating sound it’s always been.

Usually better in the am, softer, becoming more harsh through the day. What do you experience?

Mine is also softer in the morning and as the day goes on it becomes louder, then some mornings it’s loud. It’s just hard to hibernate when it fluctuates so much.

I don't know how long you've had t. Have you noticed the quiet time in the morning increasing for you? I'm hoping it does.

The t is at a level for me that if I keep decent masking around, or it's a lovely rainy day, I can almost not notice it/forget about it.

they say that 10% of the population has it to some degree. but i think that percentage is possibly bigger than we know. even just talking with people i meet in public and at work, i find more people have it than i realized.

Hello Manny and CrystalB. Nice to meet you. Sorry your T is such a burden.

My T is horrible, currently I use exercise and nutrition to deal with T. It's hard to motivate myself but I always feel better after getting my blood flowing and this also helps me sleep.

My current theory is that physical fitness promotes mental fitness which both together help us cope with T. (@fishbone's approach influenced me.)

Mine sounds like a 'FULL ORCHESTRA' of people inside my head, wetting their fingers and playing the rim of a wine glass, ok, thats enough party piece over...I said party piece over.....!

I would suggest going to see your ENT to potentially get some prednisone since your recent spike is so intense. It may be able to help.

I've felt that way. Like, there must be some help - but there is none. It so frightens me.

In the years since I aquired T I met and talked to countless people who have it also, some of them colleagues and friends , but most have it very mild , there is just one colleague who says she can hear it most of the time , she is or seems rather unphased by it , but she has it since childhood so I gues she is completely habituated to it .

How did you get your tinnitus?

I don’t know how I got tinnitus it happened one morning, I know i have ETD, but the ENT doesn’t know if my tinnitus comes from ETD or not.

Same here. I am so sleepy hardly slept last night. T was so loud I heard it over everything. God help me please.

They really don't understand how bad T can be :(

They really don’t :( when I tell them I have tinnitus I think they know there is nothing that can ever be done.

On some people I would think it is a very fitting punishment: people like Anders Breivik for example. But other then that no.....only the most vile and evil human beings deserve this condition :(

I pray everyday that we all experience relief one day. Hang in there and keep your head up. We are all in this together.

Same here (have been feeling light headed for a few days now), in my case it's low blood pressure due to the warm summer. Hoping you'll feel better soon!

How did you get your T

I don’t know for sure, it happened one morning and hasn’t went away. Some things happened a couple of days before I got tinnitus, but I don’t know for sure what caused it.

Is Weary & Burdened a new fast-food ?

Could it be the humidity? Mine is the same.

It could be! Or the pressure in the air!

Have you noticed any improvement yet?

@jjflyman I have some, I’m on some nose spray that seems to help some with the feeling full in my ears and seems as my tinnitus some days isn’t as loud.

Happens to me a lotbut it always come's back :<
