Based off my experiences whenever I share these views people assume I'm a child hater.. not at all! I love kids, I just dont feel comfortable bringing any into this world..

Anyway what brought this on is the constant questions from family about when we are having children. God forbid a woman in this family decide not to have children, the horror!

That's so true. I don't want to have children mainly because Like you I feel I would be a bad mother because of this condition and mental problems, but I also think I am doing the world a favour because the planet is way over populated, but people just don't understand these reasons for not having children.....

When it comes to children, for most people, self awareness concerning the subject is curiously switched off.

I also chose to be childfree and I have never regretted it.
