Because suction apparatus during the microsuction procedure can cause clarinetting, which can reach almost 150db, directly in front of the ear drum. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/22218937/
Do you know when you had it done, did you hear like a bang that was noticeable or was it just a little noisy and you noticed afterwards damage had been done?
I ask because I had mine microsuctioned last month and noticing T more, however there are other things that may of caused it. I don’t remember it being loud, just uncomfortable
I didn't hear a bang as such, but I did hear very loud sounds, similar to when a vacuum tube gets blocked. I actually had pain it was so loud. I wasn't told that the procedure could cause damage, I was too trusting. Never again. Just read all the people on this forum who've suffered damage from microsuction... There's too many!
I had mine done I’m not sure if it’s responsible for my recent spike and don’t remember it being loud just the sound of wax getting suctioned out. @brownbear are you an ENT have you heard of this before
@Vicki14 had microsuction and it caused her VERY mild tinnitus to become extremely loud. It also caused hyperacusis, and no end of stress. I think at the wrong hands this procedure can be extremely damaging to our auditory system, and our health in general.
