Hey Kiel, I hope you're doing better. I'm posting on your page wondering if when your ear infection cleared did your ttts and hyperacusis eventually subside? I currently have an ear infection in both ears on top of my pre existing hyperacusis, brushing over my ear drives its nuts and so does my voice. Did you get better? thank you <3

Hi Kiel, i just want to ask. Did your dysacusis symptom gone or subsided? That additional whistling sound reacting to cars, fans, refreigerators and etc

Yes, it eventually subsided for me. Basically, the more I focused on it, the worse it got. Once I stopped paying attention to it, I found that it gradually went away, at least in my case.

I'm really struggling right now. Had some loud noise exposure and two infections back to back, plus some ototoxic eat drops. It was one thing after another, and has lead to the worst Tinnitus experience of my life. It is insanely loud and I don't know why, or what to do about it. :(

Aweee man, I’m sorry about that :/ you should perhaps try taking NAC, magnesium, melatonin, vitamin C. Hopefully your T goes back to baseline :/ what do you think of steroids for the insanely loud noise exposure?
