I just want to ask, do you still have that additional whistling sound in your ears or it is gone? How i understand it is dysacusis

  How it started for you (stress.noise trauma, ototoxic meds?) and how long do you have this problem?

  It was most probably noise trauma over a period of years, which just hit a tipping point one day. It has been six years.

Hi Paulbe, Would you like to do an exchange of files on stapedius/tinnitus/tensor we both have I send you mine you send me yours? I couldn't resist to ask when I read you mention a case file you had on stapedius operations. It could be we've just collected the same files, though, but who knows.
