      Hi Rudy

I really enjoyed your post. I have suffered from tinnitus for a long time but had habituated to the point that I barely noticed. Over the past few days it has been a lot worse for some reason. I am testing out using white noise as a distraction. Could you let me know what earphones you used to listen to white noise on your phone?

      Thanks
      Zigs

        Hi Zigs,

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Getting better isn't a linear process. I've had several relapses. Try to be patient and focus on the important things in life. The earbuds that I used were not those with rubber plugs, but the ones on which you can fit a soft cushion. Those are less annoying to lie your head on when trying to sleep.

I hope you are doing better already!

        Best regards,
        Rudy

      Dear Rudy,
I'am from the Netherlands too. I liked your success story very much!
Your previous fight seems very familiar to me, which is why I am very curious where you have followed your treatment.
Still can't found a good help. Hope you will inform me!

Dankjewel, Mariam. I mostly followed treatment with a psychologist (CBT), this was key to my recovery. Also, I followed an introduction to TRT at an audiologist. And I got a lot of help online, like on this forum. ;)

And I followed a course in mindfulness, but I still thought it was useless back then. Now I fortunately know different.
