I've got one but I still wake up with a sore jaw and clenched shut. Waiting on a TMJ referral but with NHS it's gonna take forever.

You should advise them to see an upper cervical chiropractor - it is known to help if not completely relieve symptoms. :)

Hi, i read about your spike from the fire alarm on the November. I was wondering, have you fully recovered from it?
      1. astaff14
        astaff14
Hey! Yes, I’d consider myself fully recovered. My tinnitus is still a little worse than it was overall, but hyperacusis doesn’t bother me anymore, and I live my life normally again. :)

Hey, I saw that your T and Hypercusis came from a botched ear irrigation.

If you don't mind, could you tell me more about that?

My T is probably noise induced but I've been getting my ears checked to be sure. I just had my ears irrigated and it was a bit unpleasent, but the doctor said that he's certain that the earwax was the problem, and that I'm gonna be fine. Getting my hearing tested later this week.

@astaff14 I tried lipo flavonoids, and they actually helped a little bit, but they made my heart beat too fast, so I stopped taking them. I'm almost deaf in my T ear, so I might try a hearing aid. Maybe that'll help.

Yeah, it is loud. Until 2 years ago i was a regular gym goer and used relatively heavy weights doing deadlifts. The sound from dropping that would reverberate around the gym. Gladly I gave up the gym before getting tinnitus. But now I am fat. Can't win.

I told my managers that I wouldn’t be able to do my job if it wasn’t fixed and they were able to somehow, I think they disabled the audio to the kitchen so I was able to get on ok but it did come back on a couple times throughout the day.
