I took underground with hearing aids on, clearly 80 db over there. Still have tinnitus louder than that ...

Can anyone relate to have or to get worst tinnitus with amlodipine or/and irbesartan ?

I have been taking Amlodipine for years and it doesn't affect my tinnitus. It is important that your Blood pressure is kept under control, if this is reason you have been prescribed Amlodipine/irbesrtan. Too many people are concerned about medications affecting tinnitus. You risk a stroke, heat-attack, kidney problems by not keeping BP under control.

I know it michael, it has been several years i take it both. That was just for the question cause i feel, it's making it worst. I know that high bp could make the tinnitus intensity worst too.

I started 5mg Amplodipine two weeks ago to lower my BP, which it did. However, my tinnitus which started two months ago seems to have become more pronounced at night. Too early to tell if it is the BP medicine or lack of a good nights sleep. My Dr. may switch me to Lisinopril.
