I'm a young baby boomer. Plenty of loud music in my life and for a number of years I was a professional fireworks operator. I've been a metal worker most of my life too and around lots of noisy machinery. I can't identify the exact year my tinnitus began to be honest but it seems like I have always had it. Mostly it doesn't bother me much, I tune it out. Thinking about it makes it more obvious. I'd love for it to be gone but I cannot say I am stressed by it or lose any sleep and my hearing is quite good. Times like now when it is on my mind I definitely would give a lot to end it though. Mine is a high pitched squeal like a jet or turbo whine and seems to come from the centre of my brain.

Been married three times, (yes I need a new hobby). I don't seem to be very good with long term love relationships. I guess because I am too intense and a bit obsessive about things sometimes. Old enough to be accepting of my flaws anyway.

I've been through a few religions in a spiritual journey but am not religiously inclined. Just certain of only two things. I am real and I exist. God is real, whatever it is. The rest of you and everything could be just my or God's imagination since all senses are processed through the brain. After a spiritualist youth, I consciously joined Christianity in my late teen years. As a young man, I became a Buddhist. I converted to Islam in 2011 and have probably found the end of the road on that journey but you never know I suppose.

I am an "empath" and I am an animal communicator which seems to go with the territory. I'm very fond of rabbits and usually have one with me. I don't believe in caging any creature and my bunnies don't need fences they just stay fairly close to me even at work.
