Hi @Bill Bauer. I’m not sure anything is as bad as the initial onset, but It’s hard to know- you slowly get used to things and my T seems to gradually build/change. I have my original sound in the right ear- but it is no longer a pure tone and much lower in pitch. It sounds like a hiss sometimes, but when I use ear protection I can make out the pitch.
The original sound in my left ear went to a really high hiss in February. Since then it calmed a bit, and is sometimes more of a quiet room situation again. Then I had head T in February, which seems to have gone away completely. The original sound in my left ear went to a really high hiss in February. The more recent low grumble that sometimes pulses (this is still a quiet room situation) - started around two weeks ago after stretching. I’m not sure what to make of it. Hoping it fades away but no luck so far. So... in general, I wish I was hearing less sound. A more direct route to habituation?

I've had that too. It proves that a hiss is a less intense high-pitch. It looks like you are slowly making progress (your T has been fading and so it ought to continue to fade). Hopefully that low grumble will also begin resolving itself and soon.
