Well either H is improving or Ads are taking effect. 2 days of sorta kinda living instead of existing

Specsavers hearing test booked.... Going to do an extended test so I can at least see the extent of the damage in my right ear.

Tingling and numbness faded. Now have very bad fullness.

Another trip to the Dr's. More citalopram and MRI booked.

Just in case you didn't know - MRI can be loud, according to other forum members. You decide ultimately what to do, of course.

I would only do an MRI if my life were to be at stake. A number of people got serious permanent T spikes afterwards.

Hi @Gabriel5050 yer I told the Dr I was unsure but he said he wants to look at the scan to determine what's going on. Had one before with ear protection for basically the same problem and had no issues.

Another day of waking up to mega anxiety and weird feeling in ear. Not sure how much more I can put up with this

The best thing you can do now is ignore it. There is not much an ENT can do. Give it time to heal.

I've been reading this forum for close to 3.5 years, and I see that ear fullness due to minor acoustic trauma isn't a serious problem - it goes away.

Having said that, you Are probably vulnerable, and anything you do has a chance of turning on debilitating T that can last anywhere between 6 months and a lifetime. In any case, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about the ear fullness.

@Bill Bauer thanks Bill. You've given me some hope that I may eventually get rid of this feeling. My right ear has never been as good as my left. Thankfully I've always always protected my hearing since getting T. I wear ear plugs for hoovering and mowing the grass and even cooking sometimes

Another bad day. Blocked ear and numbness. Seems bad days follow good. Rinse and repeat.

First contact with Councillor. If the H won't bugger off at least I will have methods of coping with the damn anxiety.

Hi Shaun, did you just get hyperacusis? It may fade for you. I had H after T worsening but it was gone after one month

Hi @Christiaan. Thank you for the reply. Had it 6 weeks now. Its not really got any better which worries me. Anxiety is high so I'm hoping once that's under control the pain level will go down.

There are stories from other people around here like Serendipity who had it for a long time but eventually decreased after a while. It may take some time, but it
        is certainly not impossible
