Stressing out about not sleeping will prevent you from sleeping. Try playing some songs inside your head, or low level sounds on phone, maybe even a podcast. You will sleep eventually.
@Bill Bauer I've tried and will continue to try sound masking.. I've got both a high and low-pitch tone which makes it kinda hard to mask both. I do find the low-pitch to be more annoying surprisingly
The idea is not to make the masking so loud that you won't hear your own T any longer. The idea is to give yourself something else to listen to besides your T. The sounds of crickets work well for high pitched T.
