Could be related to muscles in the neck/face. Masseter and SCM possibly?

I also think I have something with my neck as my T get super loud when I bend my head towards my shoulder, I also experience stiffess under my left ear

Somebody explain to me why my T is always 80% on good ear and 20% on bad ear. Sometime it is 100% on good ear and pure silence on my bad ear

In some rare cases tinnitus goes away by itself even after years. Does that mean that hearing loss can also recover after several years?

I don't think so for sensorineural hearing loss because it means your cochlea is structurally damaged and there is no remedy for that... yet.

some people claim that their high frequency hearing got significantly better after they got rid of tinnitus after years

what magnesium and NAC you guys recommend to me and how much should I take? Thanks!

Unlike some other types, Magnesium bis Glycinate doesn't have a laxative effect. So there's that. As for the dosage, begin with the dosage recommended by the manufacturer on the bottle.

NAC, if it does anything, is something to be taken immediately after an acoustic event rather than an everyday supplement.

Well, I've seen people write that they take NAC so that in case they get exposed to noise, there's already NAC in their system and they are ready for it... I've taken NAC for months. I am not sure whether it has helped, but I don't think it had been detrimental.

I wake up everyday to pure silence but the T join me after few minutes. I can modulate it by moving my earlobe then it gets stuck in my head

Occasional mild sharp ear pain, feels like stabbing. Extremely reactive T, changes every few minutes. Ears clicking/crackling all the time!

No, but my tinnitus is somatic and can be modulated by neck movements

Dentist prescribed me Cycloff 400mg ibuprofene. is it safe ? I bought it but I am still thinking if I should take it or not ?

Ibuprofen in high doses or prolonged use can have an adverse effect on T, but basically any NSAIDs can. Paracetamol is supposed to be safer, but for me it doesn't do anything, so I take Ibuprofen when I can't take the pain. First time I had a spike, but because I haven't had any due to IP use since , I think it might have been because I was out of my mind anxious about it.

The tinnitus is oscillating, sometimes it is intense, sometimes it is very faint and sometimes I hear silence. I feel positive :)

Tinnitus 90% on the good ear (left) and 10% on bad ear (right). sometimes I hear silence on my right ear. It is weird, but I am happy anyway

This sounds like pulsatile tinnitus, I also have it. Get checked by an ENT, they might be able to diagnose the problem. Hope it gets better for you

Well, when I first got T I had a bad H. So I Stayed home for a month, trying not to expose myself to any noise. I been taking magnesium and zinc but no medications. after sometime my H and T got better. I thought I'm healing from it. I remember my T was so faint that I sometimes forget it is there and I don't hear it even on silent rooms.

I didn't want to plug my ears and check if it is really there or not because my goal was to not to focus on T at that time and get back to normal life. So I stated going out again making sure the place isn't loud. I remember I was feeling pain in my ears when someone laugh/clap hands. also a discomfort in a 70db street

It sounds like you went back to normal life too soon. If I were you, I would get back to the lifestyle that had resulted in T fading. After 2-3 years or so, you might consider trying that "normal life" lifestyle again.

When did you get T? what have you been doing for the three days before your hiss turned to a high pitch tone?

I got it 5 months ago from testing my ears at home playing loud high pitched sine waves. the T today is back to the usual hiss, which sounds like a high pitch white noise. I've done nothing in last 3 days, always being careful with noise like usual.
