Yeah, don't do any syringing. Don't stick anything in your ears at all in fact, except when needing to use plugs, but even then do it as little as possible if possible.

Yes, syringing can cause a permanent spike.

@Bill Bauer yikes. Need to figure out a way to get this thing out or else I'll live with a paint chip in my ear lol. No spike thankfully.

@all to gain ty. I avoid messing with my ears as much as possible now. I sleep with socks on my hands because I involuntarily scratch my ears when I'm asleep :(
