Exactly, Kriszti. It can take over 3 months, but most new symptoms/sounds end up going away.

Yes, I've heard all kinds of weird noises in my time. Please try not to panic, these weird new sounds almost always go away again.

I’ve had it also. Still get it every now and again. Tinnitus is life ruining. So I know how you feel, but hopefully it settles down for you soon.

@LukeYoung thank you for this comment. it did go away :) i feel much better now and have been relaxing with family. still struggling with anxiety but hanging in there.

@Kriszti yes youre absolutely right. my T doesn't bother me at all - thats why it was so scary! but it has gone back down to baseline. I'm glad that I can learn from this to not be so anxious when i have a spike :)
