Saw the Arctic Monkeys live last week (with earplugs ofc) and it was totally worth it (◡‿◡) Sep 4, 2022

My static is so quiet today compared to yesterday, when I had a couple of mental breakdowns due to it. Wish I knew what makes it fluctuate..

I wake up every day with this static, then the other sounds appear with the ambient noise that overlaps the static.

Original T very low again, with earplugs in. If it was daytime I probably wouldn’t even hear it if I took earplugs out. Static unchanged.

I’m definitely pro vaccines but I’m also scared of this particular vaccine making my T worse or giving me new noises. Ugh.

Yeah, me too. The problem is that in this forum we read only of people whose tinnitus got worse... but I bet that from a statistical point of view they are an unfortunate minority

My tinnitus did not get any worse from Pfizer. Imo the fear of getting COVID and that making your tinnitus worse should be greater than the vaccine.

The user @KMc24 wrote something very inspirational: "I would hold onto to memories of how I used to be, but I vowed not just get better, but better than before". This hit me quite strongly. I also would like to become better than before.

@just1morething I’m definitely going to make an appointment with a TMJ specialist after I’m done with physical therapy. It’s so frustrating to not know the cause. Maybe it’s just hidden hearing loss but I literally have better heating than anyone around me so...

@Bill Bauer I’ve had some good days with the original noise in my right ear, although I’m not sure if that counts as fading. I know this doesn’t have to mean anything but it’s been pretty loud the past few days so I’m not feeling very optimistic lately :D

Sorry you are doing bad. My noise is bad too. Mayo Rochester didn’t want to do anything with my TMJ but another surgeon in Illinois thinks my My left TMJ is bad enough to see him. Maybe you should look at having an MRI of your TMJ if you think its related to your noise.

@just1morething It’s not all that bad, I’m honestly just being a little whiny because it’s that time of the month lol but I’m sorry to hear that you’re not doing great. I hope the surgeon in Illinois is able to help you! I’m trying to see if physical therapy will help but I’m planning to see a specialist for TMJ just to check!

Those are obviously the main ones, but London is home to many awesome smaller museums too. I could take you on a tour of the darker, quirky side of London, and we could go to all the old little pubs that still exist.
Literally, southern Germany is the best. I've been to Stuttgard a few times, but only driving through. I usually take my van across. I can't tell you how jealous I am over where you live.

Have no idea where these new noises are coming from. I’m kinda hoping it’s just a spike because I think I might be getting sick, but noise in my right ear was usually a bearable tone that was relatively easy to mask and now it’s morphed into a very high pitched tone. Happy one year tinnitus anniversary to me I guess

I'm 2 weeks spike free. I went from beeing a broken piece of blood sack to someone that improves. It's hard to see the improvement but, who else is going to help. I changed my diet from a sugar bomb to a balanced calorie intake from actual foods, no more gaming to eliminate the extra adrenaline, showering only at evenings when things are calm. My only problem now is sleep. Try to make a change for better days
