My ears pop thousands of times a day (Feels like it anyway). And I have had a lifelong of ear problems and infections. I was actually a sound engineer but the second my ears got T I quit. I Just knew that risking my health and future is not worth the career choice anymore. It's REALLY heart breaking. Since you're a radio fellow, I know you can understand. 2/2

Thank you for reaching out. Luckily my job - especially as I'm working from home now - doesn't absolutely require headphones since I'm mostly on the writing storytelling side and we have audio engineers who do the fine audio detail work.

But it's definitely a concern! I can't tell if my eustachian tube dysfunction is acting up or if I'm just so fixated on my ears I'm experiencing aural fullness more often. All the best to you!

@MegMC For me it is acting up for sure. It feels strange constantly, like semi open. I have sound all over my brain as well, and when i go to sleep, it feels like i had worn headphones with full blast all day which i dont do anymore at all. Last time i wore headphones was over a week ago, exactly in audio engineering work. I think thats what started this whole thing.

I got tinnitus a week ago, and I just read about your tube dysfunction. I have the same annoyance that my tube is open now, even though normally it's not open constantly like this. I'm sorry I can't help much with my comment, but I want to say that you're not alone. 1/2
