Mine does not increase if I eat sugar.

The tinnitus on Thursday was very bad. On Friday the tinnitus eased a little. I didn't eat candy on Friday, I didn't go out. Saturday so today is bad again. I can't figure out why it went up or down.

Sometimes it just has a mind of its own, too.

It may or it may not. It has no effect on mine.

Depends how much sugar. I keep mine low, just in case.
