T and dysacusis started five months ago. My dysacusis does not react as much to dishes (especially porcelain) as it did in the beginning. But rushing water really is the worst for my ear!
The cause is unknown, sadly. I used to listen to music louder than you should but not daily. The symptoms started in the evening before going to bed. During my first tinnitus-days I did not even notice that I also had a dysacusis. But I think, it started all together.
Mine started 5 months ago. My tinnitus is high. An employee at my workplace set me up. Suddenly it gave a loud noise to my ears. I hope someday he will experience what he did to me. I lost my job because of him, I lost my health :(. I learned that I should not trust anyone. I hope we both get well.
I am sorry to hear that. Sadly, no one tells you about tinnitus until you develop it and start your own research. Otherwise, many people would be more careful with noises and stress... Do you also suffer from hearing loss? Unfortunately, I noticed that my hearing starts to get worse starting at 9 kHz and I really can't hear frequencies above 14/15 kHz. Only my right ear is able to hear frequencies up to almost 18 kHz
Sounds like our tinnitus stories and symptoms are very similar. Fortunately, at 8 kHz my hearing is normal which is why no one noticed my hearing loss with audiograms. Do you also suffer from muffled hearing?
Let's keep in touch and hope that both of us can recover from that misery! We haven't even lived half of a life and should not life with it until the end...
