I'm not sure, but my dad has fleeting tinnitus and it is there for a few seconds and then leaves. I guess he only has part of the tinnitus gene.
Fleeting tinnitus is short and what I call a tinnitus attack is more intense and lasts several hours.
It didn't last for hours, but maybe a minute or two. Usually, it's fine after 10 seconds hence my worry.
I had one episode of fleeting tinnitus lasting about 20 minutes. Maximum noise intensity for good 5 minutes and then it started to slowly fade
I don't know. Not much is known about fleeting tinnitus but I would call what you describe fleeting tinnitus since it's just there for a short while.
