Still going strong. I don't understand how my brain can't focus on another thing than tinnitus. I just want it being lower

I'd like to develop my focus to the point where it only enters my conscious awareness if I let it. Some people get to that point but it seems like a Jedi force power and I feel like a youngling tbh.

I'm great at focusing on stuff IRL that needs doing, but senses are a bit different.

I know, my thought is why doesn't the medical field find help for this. If a researcher truly experienced this and went into remission I think they would be more empathetic.

What matters is not what the researchers want, but what whoever is funding the research wants. A more important factor is the perceived difficulty of the problem (and the implied likelihood of success of the project). T is being generated by the brain, and the human brain is supposed to be the most complex object in the known universe...

Actually just to find something who lower tinnitus will be a great thing. Don't worry for future, our world is so loud, teenagers already have bad hearing. Science and medical field will need to find a solution to this...

Are you okay? Have you had a cold since T onset? Does COVID affect your T more than a "regular" respiratory illness? Get better soon!

Yes i'am, thx for your concerns. Tinnitus at full blast like every late evening, maybe more than usual. I have covid but no heavy symptoms and it'll be gone soon. I didn't have anything from my respiratory system, i always breathe clear nothing up there, little bit sore throat at start that's all.

There's a thread on NR you can check out. Most here take 300-600mg. I'm only taking 300 myself. It's supposed to take months to notice effects. I'm 2 months in and can't say it's done anything for me yet.

Two months should have been enough. I suspect it wasn't enough because you have had several cheat meals during those months. Every time you have a cheat meal, you reset the timer, and ensure that you will have cravings in the future.
