The world is suffering enough; don’t add to it. Die to self, do His bidding, and experience a bit of heaven (now) and a hope filled future. May 22, 2015

    Tinnitus Since:
    03/2013
    Cause of Tinnitus:
Likely stress, anxiety, an antibiotic and nsaids
Married (great wife, 26 yrs), three great kids (in college), retired USAF, two cats (one of them I swear at times asks for flying lessons ;)), currently working as a software developer (for government :inpain:). Love to play racquetball (open division), run, swim, lift weights; as much as I love those things they pale in comparison to the love I have for Christ (He's always with me) and my family (they tolerate me).
Although I've been in some very distressing situations (reference retired military) tinnitus has been the single most difficult trial in my life. Nonetheless, and in the most strange way, the suffering has made me a far more compassionate man (but not at first -- or even second or third); I'm starting to live from the heart (like Christ!). My only hope is that I can be of some help to my fellow sufferers.
