Hola! The test was just up to 8 kHz, but I do not think I have any hidden hearing loss. I am always the first one noticing the slightest sounds around :) Did you get tested up to 16 kHz?
I’m also the first to hear sounds but that’s just because I’m worried about loud noise from everyone:D
I don’t hear above 12khz and before my trauma it was 15-16..

I sometimes feel like certain everyday sounds are too loud, but I do not feel pain or anything. It's just paranoia, I guess. Do you have hyperacusis on top of tinnitus??
If you feel noise from a café or inside your home is too loud then it won’t trigger a fear effect like really loud noises outside, so then might not be paranoia. I get pain from loud cars and bikes, skateboards and such.. My ear twitches from sharp harmless noises too, like cutlery.(TTTS) I’m still astounded that your tinnitus evolved so much from no apparent reason.
Wish we just could get a constant eee
