Hi Shera! I noticed that you have had head trauma/TMJ/ETD issues and was wondering if you've ever tried seeing an upper cervical chiropractor for your issues? All of these issues can be caused by a subluxation of your atlas vertebrae.
      Hope you're doing okay! ;)

I did go to a chiropractor for a while. Then I went to a message therapist that helped a lot more. She did my jaw as well. Now I'm just exercising and stretching to keep this happy.

December 9th was my two year anniversary with T. On the one hand I'm not as crazy out of my head as last year around this time. Still --

Sorry to hear that, but misery loves company as well. I feel awful about how affected I still am coming to the two year mark, but it's nice to know others aren't "on track" to being simply okay with it.

        Hi Shera,
Sorry for commenting on such an old post. It seems you're on your third anniversary while I am on my first. I've spotted a few of your comments about the place where it seems you are doing quite a lot better. Just wondering how it's going for you?

Hi Shera, saw your IM, but can not figure out how to reply to you. Anyway, my T has gotten louder over the years, I guess I've learned to deal with it. Took 18 months, when I came to the realization this chit ain't going away. I can hear it any time I want, but for the most part I'm able to to tune it out pretty well. Going to see a Chris Young tonight, will have some ear plugs in my pocket just in case :-)

@Airmousam I think there's some issues on TT with commenting and replying.

Thanks for the info. I'm still working on the tuning it out part. Not sure if it will get better or not for me, but for now it's here.

My one year anniversary of T has come and gone. It felt bitter sweet especially reflecting on how loud my T is now from then.

Yes, this past week I have had absolutely no problem reading and I have started doing it every day and enjoy it fully like before T. Before that I had a month or two where I could not bring myself to pick up a book because I got frustrated at the tinnitus ruining my reading experience and taking my attention.

I'm glad to hear that! I've enjoyed reading as well, but when the T volume goes up I still find it difficult. Though I think that to shall pass one way or another.
