And who knows, maybe someone like Dr. De Ridder is on to something. We may very well be one of the first lucky people to receive ACTUAL treatment. So don't give up on hope, @Hamsti .

Yes, especially because of hearing loss, I was an audiophile.

I did that quite often in the first 2 years. I still do sometimes but less so then the first two years. It IS a huge grief and a loss to have silence replaced by tinnitus (and ear pain in my case) For me its no different then loosing a beloved person in your life (silence and pain-free ears was very dear to me)

I also cry from time to time (today as well) for the life I could have had but never will. This has got to be one of the most cruel conditions.

@Hamsti this is such a sad post :( I hope you’re okay. And of course I can completely sympathise. I am also in the same boat.
