I think its a numbers game. Anything and everything is potentially ototoxic, just depends on to what degree. I take buspar which is not as effective as benzos but less ototoxic. Anxiety and depression increases T..so once that is under control you will be able to deal with it better my friend.

So, the popular theory is that the Sun is 4.5 billions years old, while the Moon is 4.53 billion years old; making the Moon older than the Sun.

But according to research released last year, the Moon is actually 85 million years younger than we previously thought (making it 4.425 billion years old; thus for now, the belief is that the Sun is older than the Moon.

But the problem was that the constant pain almost drove me insane. I've been prescribed antidepressants and sleeping pills. And the antipsychotic drugs were just around the corner, that's what the psychiatrist told me. I wasn't depressed,i was just insane because of the constant pain.

You know, those who don't feel our suffering say it's depression, because for others, a person who suffers has to be happy with life.

Today I ran out of some new tones that I had won and I didn't do anything, but they were with me for 2 months. Even so, I'm still not as I was before.

@PortugalTheMan At one point I acquired a bunch of new tones within a short time due to noise exposure. A lot of the tones did go away after weeks to months. In my opinion; tones and frequencies can be distressing, but what really matters is volume as increasing volume really can push our limits. Tones may come and go, frequencies may change.

Sometimes, it's best to start small & focus on foods with high glutamate properties. In my case, I started off by avoiding chips & popcorn. That did some wonders in avoiding temporary spikes

My problem is going to sleep every day hoping that the next day it will get better. But no, I'm still in this hell.

It has to do with the nervous system, you are scared of the night because you know you will hear the T louder thus making you get anxiety thus making your T higher. So you need to look forward. There is always hope, have you ever tried to go on healing service (prayer) ?

I would like to find hope that this suffering will not be for life.

@PortugalTheMan So if you don´t stress yourself it might go away on it´s own if it´s recent (within 2 Years). If it doesn´t go away your brain will adapt and it will get better or you will habituate if you don´t think of it as something bad.
The brain collects bad experiences and it more wary of them than good experiences.

(2/2) I feel that when I go for a walk that I don't take advantage of the moment because I'm afraid of making the T worse.

Don´t live in fear, if you respect God he will take care of you.

I believe so. It took me a while, but I no longer worry. If I am going somewhere I believe will be noisy, I keep earplugs in, which means I definitely don’t worry. Give it time my friend :) x

@Steph1710 whenever I left home and am exposed to volumes of daily life, I am always worried if the tinnitus has increased, the first thing I do when I get home is to check if it feels louder or if it has changed in volume.
I don't want to live like this. But what I most want is for my T not to increase.
