@Farida I done and had the exact same thing. It did go away in the end. Mine lasted a few weeks though.

Yeah, for me it was the same. I kept doing it when I had a cold, and then one day I noticed my T had a new annoying tone. But it did go. Just so you know though - that same tone now reappears on occasion when I’ve been exposed to loud noise, but it does disappear again. I think you’ll be fine.

I dis Valsava because I noticed some fulness on one ear and boy was that a big fucking mistake

Oh and @Farida my ear was feeling full too, honestly, try never to pop them, and if you do, do it very gently. Don’t force it.

@Farida , Did it subside? Did you have a spike after the Valsava ?

It did subside, but now I have reactive Morse-code Tinnitus

So this sound appeared after the Valsalva? I feel i screwed up my hyperacusis as well - it is now worse than it was. I also spiked a tone that i slightly heard yesterday... How much time did it take to subside for you?

It took one day

@Farida The main hissing sound I have basically subsided. However, I obviously made the other two sounds ( which used to come and go) permanent. The one I heard yesterday for a few minutes and it went away. However after Valsalva, they have not given me any rest...
