Yea even with hearing protection the occlusion is loud when singing with earplugs and in-ear monitors. A lot of vocalists can't stand the unnatural sound of plugs and in-ears and opt to only plug one ear or none at all.

@NYCGuy I don't know ofc, but let's be real, sleeping with T is not the easiest thing in the world... Also most musicians hesitate to show their condition because that may make them seem "disabled" in the eyes of people in the industry.

I'm a producer for 9 years and I see it myself, how difficult it is to "open up" to people, even fellow musicians. So it wouldn't be impossible that his T was a bigger problem in reality

@GCS I only know one guy who I think he is over 50 years old now (I'm 27), who told me after I told him. But I've always been involved in loud stuff (playing in rock/metal bands, and my solo project is electronic music - dubstep, trap etc) so lots more surely have some ringing, but don't say it
