@LostinTX nope was told mix 1/4 black pepper in honey and take it with the pill for better absorbtion i just put it ib my mouth on spoon and wash it down with ginger ale lol

Do you think it was the tumeric?

I was looking into them too. If you get an estimate on price can you share info?

@Hottopic29 do the hearing aids seem to ever spike you or make tinnitus worse?

Might have spiked a bit a few times depends on volume

@Hottopic29 do you think it was the amplification of the aid that spiked you? Or was it pink noise or something from the hearing aid?

Loudness. It has relapsed to severe 3 times in 20 yrs and returned to mild after sometime. Longest time was 1.5 yrs. @Hottopic29

@Jared mine seems burning loudness is gone ...seems since acoustic reflex test so maybe it irritated the ears only been 2 weeks

I hope it improves soon and is a temporary spike only.

I can feel setbacks pretty immediately. But it’s possible.

If my high pitch noise is there for that day or if let’s slowly peaking its head, cupping my ears is how I can tell if it’s going to be a bad day

Dude I think you spend way too much time on here. It makes your ears worse since you constantly focus on your tinnitus. Get off and enjoy life a little bit! If you can :)

Hard not focus on it when its severe and both ears multiple tone and vibrations and echos just need some small relief .. i miss my old mild tinnitus in one ear didnt have the pain and Burning

The more I was able to figure the rhythm of my tinnitus the more I was able to forget about it. But when new shit happens I feel I get all anxious again and end up on here

I thought he newly acquired it from covid. Are you saying that it just made his precious tinnitus worse?

@Marshall yes it got worse when he got sick like others on here

I use to pay a lot of attention to things if it spiked my t. Than I realized I could literally be doing nothing and it would get louder. Except for noise that for sure did it

I agree with @Rockman my tinnitus is so random if I took a pill on a loud day I could easily blame that supplement for spiking me.

They seem to only be effective in cases where tinnitus is immuno-related. Stem cells supposedely is some sort of a immune-modulation

Maybe naltrexone would work for that

I think so. It would be interesting to know if those who see improvements with naltrexone have immune-dysfunctions

I’m scared to use mine. Maybe when the tinnitus stabilizes. I’m lucky I got them for feee from the military

I don't know exactly what caused my tinnitus. Maybe my constant use of headphones, maybe I had COVID without knowing, it's hard to tell. I was so scared to worsen it that I didn't take much, I took iron, magnesium and turmeric for a few weeks but that's about it... 0.5g Xanax/day for two months at the beginning, then I very slowly lowered the dosage until I stopped. Going to the osteopath didn't help either.

My tinnitus started last february. It worsened by listening to masking sound at the lowest volume, but with headphones on. Once I found out headphones were dangerous, I decided to sleep without them, and I believe letting my ears rest at night helped a lot.

I started noticing a difference around May, the loud ringings, pure tones and echoing wine glass slowly decreased, I had less and less deafening fleeting tinnitus, and continued to do so. Now, 90% of the time I only hear my tinnitus in dead silence, or not at all - it's a bit louder sometimes like it is these last few days, but nothing compared to last year.

Ya man those birds are brutal. Earplugs don't even seem to help

That sucks hyperacusis doesn't go away you just tolerate it eventually that where it doesn't bother you

I think @Jerad got permanently worse from it. its causing nausea for me

My mess started 8 months ago because I took turmeric for 6 days at a normal dosage. It caused a huge hyperacusis relapse and new t morse code tone. It didn’t go away yet. Turmeric has high salicylates, like aspirin, so some ppl it can make things worse.

I took turmeric and it caused me breathing problems :-/ I still have two expensive bottles sitting in the cupboard at home that I won’t touch.

@Hottopic29 If you have pain hyperacusis, I heard it can help. I saw your profile, Seems like you've been doing bad for the past few days/weeks. Definitely not a long term solution but perhaps try some benzos for the short term to get the edge off?

@Mufasa benzos doctor eont prescribe said addictive did get anti depressants haven't taken em yet
