    sometimes if you change how you play , what you play, I quit rock bands for good , but now play 6&12 string acoustic guitars in local parks, open air ( not loud, soft music ) short sessions still keeps my passion alive, works for me, cheers,KC

Loud noise: Headphones

2012 was the year of my first concert. Rush. I was only fifteen in love with music and completely naive to damage I was doing. Yet, my ears were fine after the two and half hour concert. My hearing was only slightly muffled; it normalized after an hour. Thirteen months later, I developed tinnitus. Despite having not been to any loud events. The culprit? Headphones.

I wanted so much more. I had plans on music school but I've given up guitar. I don't know where my academic career is going. I'm still trying to get back on track.
