    Hello @DebInAustralia
Yes I think it does and I definitely think hormones do have an impact on t,I’m sure mine did and it did seem a bit louder when I started with hrt…. I did have both my ovaries and everything removed. And eostrogen has been linked with hearing and tinnitus especially during menopause etc

    Hello @OnlyUP
I guess I have habituated to it slowly, as I am not aware of it sometimes and that’s happening more lately, when it’s quiet I can hear it, but it was like that for years…. I’ve had it for so loooooong, like now when I’m writing this it’s there, however it took ages to habituate to it last time

    Hello @DebInAustralia
Yes I’m on HRT Evoral 50….
And I do believe that menopause, my operation magnified my tinnitus and h…. Big changes and major surgery…. I still get tearful so it’s a combination of everything…. It will settle eventually….

It’s a difficult time in a woman’s life, a massive transition and I’ve read a great deal on the effects in the brain…. And hormones x

When I got my blood drawn a while back they said, I was going through mentapause. Can this cause my Tinnitus to get worse.
