Feel for you. Earplugs when outside for the next few days. I was so on edge around new year.

In december and january in my country, we have people set of fireworks, even though it is only allowed for 1 week around new years. "good" times :/ I'm hoping you will get safely through this.

Just make sure you're always wearing hearing protection outdoors, and always have ear defenders nearby you when you're at home.

I've been ok, surprisingly more quiet than last year so far. I live in a more secluded area that is farther from other houses (not much but better) so It's a LOT better and reduced volume due to that. The illegal ones aren't being set off right next door like last year.

Definitely gotta be weary once the sun goes down cause that's when people set them off! I haven't been outdoors in the evening in a few days because of it though.
