Can you hear better now after the shots?

Hey @RadioKid722 , wanted to see how far out from getting your T that you were given the steroid shots to the ear? I am about 3.5 months out and an ENT is offering to do one Thursday for me.

Hi RadioKid. Ive read a few of your posts. Ty for always posting positive and informative info, and what you know by trying it yourself. Its very helpful! Did the steroids injections that you had help or did the results fade? Just want to know how much of a benefit the 3 shots were for you. Are you still having success with the lozenges? I hope you are doing well! Sending love and support to you!

Thanks @MaxRabbit! Yes, the injections helped very much and the results have stuck around. The lozenges work great too! Were you the one that suggested GABA calm? That also works well. The shots were definitely worth it. They helped my hearing which made the tinnitus better. Hope you are doing well too! Lots of love and support to you!

Are you still having success with TPP? I am thinking of starting it soon.

Yes, it definitely seems to have provided some improvement. It's just a B vitamin, so I don't think it would have any adverse affects.

I have a chance to get intratympanic Dexamethasone shot done tomorrow. Got tinnitus bad in Jan and then got HyperC bad in late April... do you think its worth a shot getting it done?! I'll take NAC before I go... I am desperate for any kinda improvement. <3 Thank you for your time , I hope you are doing well.

I just saw this posting. There's virtually no risk. Only a miniscule risk of the hole not closing, which can be repaired anyway if that happens. You should absolutely do whatever you can to get a few injections. I've had it help as far as 3 months since onset so it's definitely worth getting it done. I'm praying for you Travis.

No, just ototoxic damage. Sound damage has a better chance of recovery I think.
