      First thing to do, is by a nature sound masker, to help distract yourself from T, a few hours a day. Use it for sleeping also.

        For $20, I bought a Hometics sound machine, the first day I got T. I now have 3 around the house. I also have a hearing aid / masker which helps. My right ear is shot and I'm almost deaf. My left does all the work. I have good hearing in that ear.
        I struggle even after 17 months, but that's because my T is very intrusive! Severe and chronic. I hope yours is not as bad?
