Different muscles and some says TTTS is part of MEM but is almost the same, the difference may be which muscle is causing the spams in the ear.

I'm going to NUCCA and doing PT, my neck and jaw are killing me for weeks and for sure is the causes of my issues. I think there is hope, it does goes away for a lot of people for sure. I always go back old post and most people who doesn't post again is because they got better.

@NYCGuy I have one of those and it comes and goes. Sometimes I’ll have the twitch for days or a day or two. Sometimes it goes away for a week or two, but always comes back. Hopeful that part of my T heals as it’s in my left ear and my baselines in my right and def feel I can deal better with the right baseline. This twitch is like morse code and very hard to ignore.

Correct @SamRosemary , is driving me crazy. I can handle the 10 tinnitus but not the TTTS. I will go to boston to see DR Santos, seems the best for the surgery.

@in_LA Tonic Tensor Tympani (TTTS) and Middle Ear Myoclonus (MEM)

I had 4 sessions of chiropractic care and will be doing for the next few months. So far, I can say that it improved my tinnitus, I only get like one or 2 thumps after burping. , but I noticed that I get ticking sound like that of a clock when laying down not sure if its because of my neck and spine is in the process of aligning. Sorry for my english but thought id give some update. Hopefully you are all well!!

So happy for you @Kjforever , you did regular chiropractor or type like upper cervical one?
