I’ve been meaning to ask you about the fullness. Meh, it still hasn’t let up yet…such BS. How about the distortions that came back from that fire alarm exposure? A bit better i hope

Distortions have improved again but I now get a horrible high pitched on in my car even with plugs. That’s a pain but I just try not to drive much. Don’t think I’ll ever be rid of them but they are not affecting me too much atm.

The fullness is driving me mad though.

By any chance, have you ever tried to pop your ears to equalize pressure? Don’t use the valsalva maneuver though because there’s been anecdotes of people getting worse from doing it here, but maybe something like the toynbee maneuver. It’s much less forceful. You get a glass of water, pinch your nose, and gulp down the water.

Hey @ZFire, yeah, I’ve tried that. Funny thing is that my ears do pop it just feels like my right one doesn’t pop right. It feels like there is something inside my ear that’s moving. It’s a difficult sensation to put into words.

“Something inside my ear that’s moving” . Okay this is interesting because I had this sensation you’re describing too when I caught COVID the first time. Not only was the Ear fullness intense and hearing was muffled, but I felt strange movements around the eardrum area. When I tilt my head I could feel something move. It was annoying when trying to sleep. Lasted 2 weeks (ears kept popping to relieve fullness).

@makeyourownluck why it still hasn’t let up for you yet is beyond me. Shit sucks, might need more time than others I’m guessing.

I’ve been brainstorming some ideas for you to try. Try chewing gum and yawning while your steaming. See if this triple combo effect does anything to equalize pressure properly (especially right ear).

Yeah the movement isn’t always there but the fullness is just non stop. I get occasional ETD in my left ear and I actually look forward to it now because it gives my brain a rest from focusing on the right lol

The movement - it feels like there is something crawling in my ear. Horrible imagery, but accurate.

Sometimes feels like my throat on that side is covered in something. I’m thinking the nerves around that area are just fried and creating weird signals.

I can’t do the gum because I have TMJD. I might try hard boiled sweets. Thanks for the suggestion @ZFire.
