you can also use costum sleeping plugs if you havent already looked into those. i use them for sleeping and they work around the house aswell. They are really nice

Are they similar to silicone? Those ones look very short so they should be good to not go deep in and irritate you like the foam ones.

I've been looking at the type of earplug a singer wears so u can control how much sound comes in but I haven't bought any. Do u have hyperacusis?

I use foam earplugs for sleeping when at certain environments in which I dont want to be awaken too early by noisy neighbors. It was really uncomfortable at first but got used quickly.
