Hello. Yes I've taken it 4 times in my lifetime, twice before my severe tinnitus, and twice after.
The earlier times I took it, I didn't take it for long. The initial side effects made my anxiety a lot worse and I didn't continue for more than a week both times.
The latter two times increased my tinnitus, so I discontinued.
@kingsfan ah that’s too bad thanks for letting me know. Have you considered taking lexapro? I saw a few people here say that had less incidence of tinnitus causing at least so perhaps less worsening too?
@Shelbylynn It's taken a lot of self-discovery, but I believe all my depression & anxiety issues stem from adhd. Now trying to get a diagnosis while having it has been a monumental task. I have gotten so bad I have trouble just showering and washing dishes in the same day, let alone seeking out psychiatrists.
@kingsfan I'm currently
unmedicated for my my adhd, as far I've heard it shouldn't interfere with your tinnitus, people with adhd can get hyper fixations, so if it helps with the fixations it might help you with obsessing less with the tinnitus. Everyone reacts differently to the medications so some might see a change in their tinnitus while others won't
