    Yes musician earplugs are not good for long times of loud sound exposure. Even normal ones may not be enough as sound vibrations also travel through our bones.

    Spike could be temporary. It has to go down to some extent. You'll feel better as time passes.

    I wish your ENT knew that it was a bad idea to go. Sorry it happened and hope you recover from the spike! Im positive if I live through this many events are just never going to be allowed again. Live music top of list.

    You’ll be surprised to know that my ENT also has tinnitus. Their advice is always been go live your life and use noise protection.

    I'm newer to this and if the T ever gets stable, lowers or goes im happy to abandon quite a few noisy things in life. Hearing protection doesnt stop heavy thrum, deep vibration sound. Goes right through. Hope you are feeling better. Hugs and support.
