@Aschenherz Possibly, but why this timeline precisely and not shorter or longer? That is my question.

The cynic in me thinks that a lot of these people had actually had higher LDLs than they realised and it just took them a long time to get comfortable with sound again. Also it feels like there are like many distinct conditions that we call hyperacusis, so it's hard to compare.

I really don't know, how this happens. But i see progress for me. very little, but it made me re-consider my dark thoughts.

@volterra that's possible. Have you had your LDLs measured? And I agree about how many different facets or conditions are possibly lumped under the term H.
