Watched the Netflix movie on psychologist Phil Stutz last weekend. He says three things in life are unavoidable: pain, uncertainty and constant work. Life is about being able to keep going forward in the face of those three shitty constants. Made a lot of sense to me

He's completely wrong about "constant work": I haven't worked since 2008.

@Lurius i think he means work as a broader concept. Working towards overcoming adversity / the pain and the uncertainty we are dealt with.

@CRGC Yeah, I thought about that. That makes more sense. And I didn't mean that not working 2008 is a good thing. I'm practically disabled, I would do almost anything to get rid of this.

I feel you @makeyourownluck ... we can't be 100% sure that shit's the only thing on that other side though. We just have to hang in there and hope for positive change. Because change always comes. Nothing stays the same forever <3
